Presenting the First Episode of The Multicultural Minute!

| | Comments (6)
I thought it would be a fun project to create a humble little video on my favorite subject, multicultural children's literature! And publishing, and other ideas, and discussions in related areas, of course. So I am very excited to present the first episode of The Multicultural Minute, in, you got it-- one minute chunks. It's not much, but I hope to have fun with it, and I hope YOU will have fun with it too! If you have questions you'd like me to answer or issues you'd like me to address in future episodes, let me know in the comments. Enjoy!

Books mentioned in this episode:
The Golden Sandal
The Korean Cinderella
My Chinatown
Throw Your Tooth on the Roof
Sushi for Kids

You rock! I normally skip video/vlogs. But because of the topic and it was you talking, I had to check it.

Love this. Will be here every episode. And you can bet I'll be tweeting and linking at Color Online.

Congratulations, Renee! I love the idea of a "multicultural minute" and will be telling others about it!

I look forward to following the series. Will you be posting the videos on a particular day of the week?

Thanks Aline. There will definitely be a video every week, but I haven't figured out which day it's going to be yet. I suspect it will take a few weeks to settle into a good schedule. I suspect it will be midweek, either Wednesdays or Thursdays. We'll see how it goes.

Susan, thanks for the positive feedback and encouragement. I really appreciate it. I'll be in touch via email or twitter!

What a great idea! loved this quick snapshot of your books and TBR pile...

Love this, Renee - great idea! I enjoyed the literary "eye candy" - makes me want to buy more books! It was also nice to have a face to put to the name. :-) I look forward to following your vlog!
